Minimal break-in, great traction. Maybe the Puma last just fits my feet better, but I had a pair of Nike R9s that were great for traction, but my toes felt more jammed up (same size).

My 17 son loves these shoes. He had another pair which were not Kangaroo skin and they fell apart after one three month season. He wanted another pair because they are so comfortable, so I forked out the $100 plus dollars thinking these would be better, and they split at the toes seam after his second practice. So now he has $100 plus shoes with white atheltic tape around the toe to keep them from splitting anymore. NOT GOOD. This looks really tacky and I will NEVER purchase another pair of Pumas for him again.
