I bought these to make an obstacle course for my son on his bicycle. They do that well, and would also mark a field (soccer, frisbee, etc) quite well. Theyre smaller/shorter/lighter than what Id expect to direct traffic in a parking lot.

I bought these cones for coaching kids sports. The 9 size is good for visibility and they are light enough that kids dont, generally, trip on them. You can easily throw them in a kit bag for transport. They stack up nicely, making it easy to quickly pick them up off the floor or field. Most important, the price was the best that I could find for stackable cones on Amazon.
