The Fox 40 classic is the finest whistle ever made. The pealess design allows for sharp staccato bursts of audible sound perfect for getting peoples attention even after its been submerged. Its size (ever more so with the Fox 40 mini)and smaller chamber volume makes it easier to blow higher decibles than with larger "super whistles." As a lifeguard of several years, I have come across several sub par whistle designs that only claim to be the best. The Fox 40 actually delivers.
