While I agree with the reviewer who said the video is dated, the technical skills taught are very good. It doesnt matter that you cannot hear him very well, just watch and then practice. I also agree that the videos (we have the set) are not the highest production quality, but thats far outweighed by the benefits. He really breaks down the skills into pieces, and always offers several ways to develop your ability. Worth it if youll practice!! by: Anonymous On: 2000-04-25
This video is low budget and outdated. The audio quality is very poor, the video is poorly shot and edited, and the instruction is mindless. "Coach" Vogelsingers instruction amounts to simple directions which he demonstrates. But all you hear is his garbled, high-pitched voice saying "There... and there.... and there..." which is supposed to highlight some technique. He never looks at the camera and the audio seems dubbed. After his demonstration there is footage of students trying the moves. It contains grainy old footage of NASL and World Cup matches. This video is at least ten years out of date. by: Anonymous On: 2000-04-08
Lectured are some of the basic dribling and traping that every soccer newbies should go through. All techniques here are commonly useful for various size, age, and positions. On top of these techniques each soccer players may learn some more advanced skills as Peles using shoulder to earn more space between the ball and other teams fielder. On: 1998-12-25
Teaches every way to receive or trap the ball with your head, chest, stomach, thigh, shin, and every foot surface through progressively more difficult drills. I finally learned to controll the ball off my chest and thigh after repeatedly watching a little of this video and practicing the skills.
