Dont expect to become a super coach with this book. As a semi pro coach I was often accused of being to tactical with my sessions. Upon reviewing the season I have to agree that there was a huge tactical element to my training, but for the most part it was a trade off as I was trying to change the system of play of the team. In the long run the tactical will go down and the intensity and reinforcement will go up. This book really is for the second phase. Drills used with players who know how to play. That is not to say that the drills are too advanced, far from it, there are some excellent exercises in the book, but for myself nothing that was revolutionary, just good drills to add to my own coaching book. In the long run the biggest benefit was that it highlighted where I would like to be (or at least as close as I can be at semi pro level) within the next 2 seasons with my team in terms of how a coaching sesion should be run once players have an understanding of the systems in place On: 2008-06-09
I am satisfied with the the book order process and delivery. I fing it that the book itself (most of the books from Holland) are rather expensive.
