Knowing what I know now, I feel bad for her. You could tell by reading it that she was getting tired of it. It is a good book and an inside look to how her "life" was in the beginning. Just wish she would have backed out OR at least listened to what she had wrote about.

The book is boring, and by buying it you are feeding the all time Hollywood mashine.... and make more profit for Britney ( does she need more money, than what she has? and still not happy? my suggestion she she should try an ordinary 8am-5pm job. Don`t waste your money. It is time for her to grow up.

I read this book to know Britney Spear life and Im not dissapont. She tells a lot of her stories and she work very hard to be famous star in world. Her mother also wrote the book together and she is good model for Britney Spear. These womens have feet on ground and strong value. Britney and Lynne Spears have done a wonderful job writing Britneys life story. The book chronicles Britneys entire life from her birth to after the release of "Oops, I Did It Again". The book shows that Britney wasnt always rich, in fact her family did go through some financial problems. Britney and Lynne also write about how from an early age Britney showed her talent for singing and dancing. I specifically enjoyed reading about Britneys childhood, there is a lot of information about young Britney that I loved reading about. It was also interesting to learn about how Britney got her record deal, and how nervous she and her mom were before her audition- the same one that ended up giving Britney a record deal! Britney and Lynne talk about mother-and-daughter issues, such as clothes, serious issues (such as sex and drugs), how to help each other over come obstacles, amd more. This was an awesome book, perfect for any Britney Spears fan. There were also tons of cool pictures, of Britney from when she was a baby, as a child, a teen, and all the way up to the year 2000. However, I feel as though Britney and Lynne should write another updated edition of the book soon, as it has been a while!

When Britney first came out, I thought she was just another singer. Then, as I saw the interviews, I noticed, shes just a normal teenage girl. She kind of reminded me of me. Then, when I read this book, I was blown away. I thought I was weird for having a close relationship with my mother. Apparently, Im not the only one whos close to their mom. Britney and her mom are like best friends and their relationship is almost exactly like mine with my mother.This book tells how Britney grew up poor, but rich. Her family may not have always had enough money or even phone service, but she still had love. The respect that her family has for one another is amazing. She had a terrific relationship with her brother, who in typical big-brother fashion, watched over her like a hawk. She has an adorable little sister who admires her. Britney learned to sing when she was 3. She started dancing the year before. She always loved to perform, but was always so shy about regular conversations. This book tells the story of the famous teen pop star in a rags to riches sort of way. It examines her friendships, her MMC days, and things teenage girls and moms have to talk about. It shows that with a little faith and love, you can go so far. This book also has a ton of great pictures (including some of Justin and JC of *NSYNC and Christina Aguilera). I think if you want to read a touching mother-daughter book or youre a Britney fan, you should get this book. Its amazing.

If you are looking for a good Britney Spears bio, this is the one to read. And since it was written by her and her mom, you can be sure that the info is 100% accurate. The book also had a ton of private pictures of Britney, even as a little kid! The book also has amazing detail about Britneys life. I especially enjoyed the parts about what Britney did before she got a record deal. So for all Britney fans out there, if you want to learn a whole lot mre about her, this is the book to read!

I gave the book 3 stars because I was just so...astounded(!!) at the sacrifices the Spears family made for Britney. Also, I was disgusted at the intense sugarcoating of stories, but Ill get to that later. They must have been DYING to get out of Kentwood, Louisiana. Ms. (Lynne---shes divorced now!!) Spears uproots Britney when shes, what, nine years old? to move to NYC to be a "star". She LEFT HER OTHER CHILDREN (who were both under 12, I may add) 1,000 miles away while she worked with Britney, her little "pet project," all the while giving her a sketchy education. Notice how Britneys cerebral skills are never mentioned in the book, probably because the Spears family realized that they would never have the cash to get out of their little southern ghetto unless they exploited and sold Britneys body and sex appeal. Did she even go to high school?! btw, I was shocked at the fact that when they had no money, they could still buy ice cream and Britneys endless lessons in God-knows-what. What about Bryan and Jamie-Lynn? Why is everything so Britney-Britney-Britney? That family is so warped. This book just bothers me.

What can I say? Britney has honestly showed no class, especially in recent events such as walking out on her own concert, then flipping the fans off. Now I see that this has been published. Resources used to publish this book couldve been used for much more important and sufficient things, rather than for this book.

I decided to buy this book after watching the Driven special about Britney on VH1. This book tells about how the Spearses struggled financially, yet were still determined and did everything they could to see Brtiney accomplish her dream of being a star. It also talks about Britney competing in talent shows and gymnastics, going to new York to do off-Broadway, The Mickey Mouse Club, Star Search, getting a record deal,and family life. The book also shows how very close Brit and her mama are. It includes pictures of Brit growing up, with her best friends, with Christina Aguilera, JC, and Justin, and of her performing. The only complaint that I have about this book is that it didnt go into certain topics as far as I would have liked. For example , I would have liked to know more about her experience with Innosense, but overall, this book was good. This book is really for Britneys younger fans (age 8-16), but it you are a huge fan of hers, or if you just want to see the pictures, I recommend that you buy it!

This book puts all those "Unofficial Biographies of Britney Spears" to shame. This is in Britney and her mothers words. You dont have someone else telling her story.This book succeeds on many levels. First of all, I love the pictures. I dont think I had ever seen a picture of Britneys father before, but this book has it. There are many never-before-seen pictures in this book, and this reviewer loves pictures. Another thing I like about this book is that you get both Britney and her mothers perspectives. I will admit that some of it is a little cheesy, but not too the point that it turned me away. I found out way more in this book than I ever did in all those unofficial biographies. There are many great stories in here. Stuff like her time in the Mickey Mouse Club, and her experience in recording that first CD. By now everyone has already heard these stories a million times, but if you want to hear them from Britneys perspective, this is the way to go. I wont ruin the book by telling you everything thats in it. I was pleasantly surprised at the many things I didnt know about Britney included in this book. Of course, I got this when it first came out, so anyone not a Britney fan probably knows all this stuff by now. But still, it is a great book. In short, every Britney fan should have this. It is a must if you follow her career and would like to know a little more insight about today reigning pop queen. By the way - Happy 20th Birthday to Britney AND me! WOO-HOO!!

Britney Spears Heart To Heart is a MUST buy for any britney fan. I read this and once I finished, I found myself loving Britney even MORE! The book shows how Britney really is down-to-earth and how much she appreciates all that she has been given. Its nice hearing from Britney herself on certain subjects like how it was recording her first album and how she worked hard for the fame she has now. Britneys mom also gives some advice on raising kids and what she went through to help Britney.Even if youre a "Britney Hater," if you read this, youll have a whole different thought about Britney. I reccommend this to any Britney fan! Youll love it!

Britney Spears Heart to Heart really allowes you to get a private and exclusive inside look at Britneys rise to super stardom. Youll know everything from sneaking out to a boys house with girlfriends to Britneys aunt bragging about her niece. Lynne Spears also contributes some heartwarming poems. Her rise to stardom has not been easy. It was lucky she grew up in Kentwood with all those friendly neighbors to help the Spears family out whenever they needed it. That reminds me of Gilmore Girls with its fictional Stars Hollow. Anyway, you should read it. Its a wonderful book.

Its a behind-the-scenes look at the real Britney Spears and contains lots of little-known facts and lots of great pictures from her past. Dont you hate it when beautiful people are torn between reality and what the publishers want to see? You probably didnt really think of that answer as an "option", but I do. Britney Spears, pop icon and teen sensation, and a daughter a very socfisticated mother, has became an author of her latest book, "Britney Spears: heart to heart". It explains her sucess, both early (mickey mouse club) and latest (Baby one more time and Oops...I did it again). Athough it seems to be real, it also seems like her manager told her most of the story to put in. But still, she very much inpresses me. Keep up the good work, Britney.

Hi,I am Britneys #1 fan and I even have my own Britney Spears Website, ... I loved the book, "Britney Spears Heart to Heart". This book is very inspiring to people who want to be a singer and/or dancer and tells you what life in a small town is like. I think you should read it and buy it because this book because it will inspire you to. It is a wonderful book and only a fool wouldnt buy it. It inspired me so it will inspire you.

You just found the perfect book. I would say neither Britney nor her mom REALLY wrote anything here. Sheryl Berk, the so-called contrbutor did it all. If youve ever heard Britney speak, youll know what I mean. Lets get serious here: First off, what self respecting mother lets her daughter run around in tube tube tops and mini skirts (Neither of which really serve ANY purpose.) and second off, if Britney is so busy, how could she possibly have the time to write an autobiography. There are some amazing pictures here. I especially like the one where Brits eating a cookie and I love the one side by side with Christina, but the writing is WWAAAYYY under par and there doesnt seem to be any real purpose in writing this. Just to tell what a swell relationship Brit has with her Mama, and how "Totally happy" they are. Barf-o! (I especially liked where Britney asked her Mama if there were cows in New York. I thought, "Oh, I see, she was always a bright child.") I like how there are examples of poor grammar in nearly every chapter and best of all how you feel that after reading it, you dont know anything you didnt before and feel no new emotions about Britney, her career, OR her mom. Im giving it four stars because I like Britney, and I think the pictures are all good. I also think that, with time, it could have been a better book. But at 18 with just two CDs out, it all seems like a bad idea to me.

I have literally read this book over 30 times, and let me tell you-its nothing but the best! Several times it mad me cry, Lynne says, and I qoute, "Theres nothing better in life, than finding your meaning on this world-except maybe helping someone else find hers." Did you know Britney wasnt one of wealth until she started singing perfesionally? Their heaters broke, and in their house you could see your breath. They had nothing in the fridge to live off of, and they children, Britney, her older brother Brian, and little sister Jamielynne, didnt get an allowance, and sometimes werent able to eat lunch at school, for they didnt have enough money! This book explains everything that a girl goes through, if youre poor and wear rags, or if you are rich and famous, doesnt matter, this book will explain it all, from a different perspective. My family has birthdays all around the sametime, I bought them all this book, and even my dad has read it more than once! My mom crys everytime she reads what Britney went through. Excellent. Sublime. Ethereal. These are the only words that can hope to do justice to this brilliant, wonderful book. I have not read such accomplished writing since the "Nausicca" episode in Joyces ULYSSES. HEART TO HEART snares the nebulous all-encompassing phenomena that we call (for lack of a better word) "Being" better than anything in Samuel Becketts TRILOGY. This is a fantastic read! I read from cover to cover in about an hour or two. Not only does this account for Britney Spears huge success, it also, lets you in to see what Britney is like behind the make-up and paparazzi! By the end of this book, I (honestly) felt like I understood what it would be like to be Britney. She really does see herself as a normal person and doesnt really understand what all the fuss is about. I quote (but not word for word) what Lynne Spears (Britneys mum) says in the book: "Britney will just look at me when a fan comes up to her as if to say I dont get it: Its just me!" It also includes never-before-seen photos. These photos are on every single page in black & white (sometimes colour) except in the middle of the book where there are a couple of pages of nothing but colour pictures. Not a double page goes by where there isnt a photo. Even if youre not a huge fan of Britneys, if you just like to read autobiographies for the fun of it, or to see where these stars actually came from: this is the book for you!

This book is even better then the Biography of the Rock i read last week! Its amazing to think at 19 Britney has collected such depth and wealth of understanding of life and living. Only britney would attempt to write an autobiography at 19. What a great idea! I was stunned to read Britney had a close relationship with her mother, wow. And her life at the Mickey Mouse club was truly unique and worthy of study. Still I wish i could have heard mention of her breast surgery and how she felt appearing as a sex object at the illegal age of 17, but i really dont think she realizes what she represents or what people are making her into.

I thought it might be fun to read a book about Britney, but this was terrible. They should have taken more time writing in stead of squeazing that in between performances. Basically the most of the book is sickeningly sappy. To give them credit it isnt too conceited and Lynne seems to have some good advice, but overall its pretty much common sense. She should have waited another year or two before releasing it. It would have been good if there were a tiny bit more depth than this. I advise you stay away.

My Dad has just returend from the USA and brought this awesome book for me. Though I have not finished reading it yet I have to admit that this book is wonderful. Britneys Mom tells a lot of interesting facts about her daughter. "Heart To Heart" is not just a scrapbook about famous pop-star. Well, i wasnt a huge fan of Britney Spears...i was justlooking for anything to buy...then i found this wonderful book! It wasso fun to read it! You know, her mom wrote a lot more than her (there are two kinds of letters in there: a little one and a bigger one; the little one is from her mother and the bigger one its Britneys)...but still is one of the greatest books ive ever read...theres a lot of experiences well related in there, theres a great description of their relationship and a kind of guide to every mom of how to creat their children...i loved it...Britney seems so mature! The pictures are so great too...there are loads of pics when Britney was just a baby and a lot of her growing up! Just great! I used to think that Britney was a little fake but after this book, i just think that shes as wonderful as she looks like...maybe someday ill meet her and tell her that! I picked "Heart to Heart", written by Britney Spears and Lynne Spears, today at a local bookstore. It had me glued to my seat until I finally finished the book just now. This book has everything a true fan would want, exceptional and carefully picked photos straight from Britney and her mom, her road to success from her childhood past, to her close family ties, especially, of course, her mother, Lynne Spears. Photos in this book were of most that I have not seen anywhere else, be it the Internet, magazines, or other Britney books. Her father was even in some of the photos (I have not seen ANY pictures of her father ANYWHERE). This struck me as odd, actually seeing her father for the first time, but as I read on, she explained that her father is not very close to her as her mother, because her father is a contractor who moves all across the country. Nevertheless, he has provided the foundation for Britney Spears success. Jamie Lynne, Britneys younger sister, is described by Britney as "the best sister in the world. She wants to be ME when she grows up. She looks up to me." Britney and Jamie have been very close, ever since Jamie stepped into this world. Descriptions and details about Britneys friend and celebrity bonds are beatifully written. From Ricky Martin, to Melissa Joan Hart. About how she has helped many friends, and celebrities like Melissa Joan Hart, her movie "Drive Me Crazy." This book has it all, from her first tryouts for the Mickey Mouse Club in Orlando, to the spotlight on MTV. Britney recollects in this book about her performances (concerts and award shows) and her attendances (award shows). She absolutely loves talk shows, being able to step out and thank the fans for her success. Want to know how she inherited the title "The Princess of Pop?" Look no further, pick up a copy of "Heart to Heart." A good portion of the book is about her close tie between her and her mother, hence the title "Heart to Heart"; however, do not sidestep this book, for it is even a great book for relationships. With all the bad influences on teens these days, Britney and her mother, Lynne, has provided the idealistic parent-child relationship that we should all follow. The book is aimed at everyone of all ages. I recommend you pick it up, even if you do not seem to like her because she is more than an artist, she is a down to earth person with the human utopian characteristics - generousity, polite, courteous, open-minded, liberal (I could go on and on) - that nowadays everyone needs to have. I assume your reading this because your a fan of Britney Spears, right? Well...what are you waiting for? Buy this book right away, do not hesitate. You will not regret purchasing this book. Oh, and about the other Britney Spears books that are out there. Do not buy them, for they are UNofficial, and they can not even compare to this magnitude of a book. I have almost all the other Britney Spears books out there possible (yes, I am truly DIE-HARD Britney Spears fan), and none of them combined have the wealth and vast information "Heart to Heart" contains. However, it gets a little ridiculous when a singer attempts to write a book saying her family is perfect and that her and her mom "would go to the moon and back for each other". This book titled "Britney Spears Heart to Heart" is a terrific book. The amount of time that Britney and her mother, Lynne Spears, put into making this book is enormous! I have read a lot of things about Britney, however this one tops them all! It is extremely detailed down to the very last detail. Also the pictures in the book with her family and fans and breathtaking!
